Overview
Mailifide is a toolkit for the Mail app on your Mac. If several accounts, aliases or catch-all addresses land in one inbox, account tags color or flag each new message by the address it was actually delivered to, so you can see at a glance what came in for Work, Personal or a side project.
Tags match exact addresses or whole domains, and use the delivery headers, so forwarded mail is tagged by its real destination. Mailifide suggests addresses your mail has been delivered to, and you can import your own addresses from Contacts. Account tags are free and unlimited.
Scam Shield is an optional subscription that checks new mail for phishing: failed sender verification (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), fake display names, lookalike domains, links that go somewhere other than they say, and brand-new domains. On a Mac with Apple Intelligence, on-device AI also reads the message for scam tactics. A warning banner with the details appears right inside Mail.
Mailifide is private by design. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. Messages are read and analysed on your Mac and are never uploaded. Mailifide helps you spot scams but cannot guarantee to catch every one.
Features
Account tags
Color or flag new mail by the address or domain it was delivered to. Great for aliases and catch-alls. Free and unlimited.
Tags by real destination
Tags use the delivery headers, so forwarded mail is tagged by the address it was really delivered to.
Scam Shield
Spots failed sender verification, fake display names, lookalike domains, mismatched links and brand-new domains in new mail.
On-device AI
On a Mac with Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device model reads the message for scam tactics. Other checks work without it.
Warnings inside Mail
A banner above a suspicious message explains why it looks risky. Likely scams can be colored, flagged or moved to Junk.
Private by design
No account, analytics, tracking or ads. Messages are analysed on your Mac and never uploaded.
