What is Pixfide?
Pixfide is a free iPhone and iPad app by Appfide that transforms photos with AI. It restores and colourises old pictures, sharpens blurry shots, and offers 100+ styles — painted anime, 3D animated characters, collectible figures, headshots, watercolour and more. It needs no sign-up, and creations are paid for with credits or a Pixfide Pro subscription.

Overview
Pixfide turns a photo into something new in a tap. Pick a style from a library of more than a hundred, choose one of your photos, and Pixfide does the rest. Portrait styles are built to keep your face, features and expression recognisably yours.
Half of the app is about memories: colourise black-and-white photos, repair faded, scratched and creased prints, sharpen blurry or low-resolution shots, and brighten pictures taken in low light. The other half is play — a dreamy hand-painted anime still, a 3D animated movie character, a boxed collectible figure, a 90s yearbook portrait, a professional headshot, or a sketch, watercolour, oil painting or pop-art piece.
You choose the render engine for each edit, from fast and light to the sharpest at up to 4K, and every engine shows its credit cost before you start. Economy mode renders for fewer credits when you are not in a hurry and notifies you when the result is ready.
Pixfide is private by design. There is no sign-up and no name, email or phone number. Your uploaded photo is deleted as soon as processing ends, and the result is removed from Appfide's servers as soon as it is downloaded to your device.

Pixfide FAQ
Is Pixfide free?
+
Pixfide is free to download. Creations are paid for with credits: buy credit packs of 50, 150 or 500 that never expire, or subscribe to Pixfide Pro for 100 credits a month (or 1,200 a year), every engine and priority processing. New accounts do not include free credits.
Do I need an account to use Pixfide?
+
No. Pixfide has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email or phone number. Your credits are tied to the App Store account you paid with, and Restore purchases brings them back on a new device.
What happens to my photos?
+
The photo you pick is uploaded privately and processed by third-party AI services only to create your image — you agree to this before your first upload. The upload is deleted as soon as processing ends, and the result is deleted from Appfide's servers once it is downloaded to your device. Undownloaded results are deleted after 30 days.
What is economy mode?
+
On engines that support it, economy mode renders your photo on a slower, lower-cost path for fewer credits. Most economy creations finish within a few hours, though it can take up to 24 hours; you are notified when it is ready, and credits are refunded automatically if it is not delivered in time.
Do credits expire?
+
Credits from packs never expire. Unused Pixfide Pro credits roll over up to three times your plan's allowance, and expire only if the subscription ends.
Which devices does Pixfide run on?
+
Pixfide runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.0 or later, and is localised in 44 languages.
