Diocese of Cochin
The official digital platform of the Diocese of Cochin: a website with news, events, parishes and daily readings, a dashboard the diocese office runs itself, and a companion app on the App Store and Google Play.
What we built
Appfide designed and built the Diocese of Cochin's official website (dioceseofcochin.org), the admin dashboard its office uses to publish content, and the Diocese of Cochin mobile app for iPhone and Android, which shares the same content and sends push notifications.
The website
Overview
The Diocese of Cochin needed one place for everything it publishes: news, notices, events, parish details, the clergy directory and messages from the Bishop, kept current by its own office rather than by developers.
We built the website and an admin dashboard where staff write posts with a rich-text editor, manage parishes and priests, and publish custom pages. Everything published on the site also appears in the mobile app, and readers can opt in to push notifications for new posts.
The companion app for iOS and Android brings the same content to phones, with today's readings, saints of the day, pilgrim centres and a full parish and priest directory.

Opt-in notifications on the web and in the app for new posts and daily reminders.

A Flutter app on the App Store and Google Play with the same content, pilgrim centres and notification settings.
