ZenSphere — Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

This policy applies to the ZenSphere iOS app (meditation, breathing exercises, sleep sounds and a meditation timer), published by Appfide Private Limited ("Appfide," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India with its registered office at XXI/152 Panadans, Cochin University Post, Ernakulam – 682022, Kerala, India.

It sits alongside our company-wide Privacy Policy. Where the two differ, this app-specific policy prevails for ZenSphere. Sections of the company policy about user accounts, sign-in, profile data and web payments do not apply to ZenSphere.

2. In Short

No accounts, no sign-in, no names, email addresses or phone numbers.
No ads, no tracking, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and no analytics SDK.
Your practice history, streaks, favourites, saved sound mixes, reminders and settings stay on your device.
The app uses a random, anonymous ID. It is what lets subscriptions and premium content work; it is not linked to who you are.
Apple Health is optional and write-only: ZenSphere can log Mindful Minutes, and never reads your health data.

3. What Stays on Your Device

Your practice history, streaks, weekly goal, favourites, focus areas, saved sound mixes, reminder times and app settings are stored only on your device (including the widgets and controls, which read them from the device). We never receive them. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device.

4. The Anonymous App ID

On first launch the app creates a random identifier (a UUID) and keeps it in your device's Keychain. It contains nothing about you. It is used to keep track of your subscription and to let our server deliver premium content to your device. You can see it in Settings > Support ID, and you can include it when you contact us so that we can find your records.

5. Subscriptions

Purchases are made with your Apple ID through the App Store; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives the anonymous app ID and your App Store purchase history for ZenSphere (products, dates, renewal and cancellation status), and we use this to unlock premium content and to see aggregate subscription figures. It is not used for advertising.

6. Premium Content From Our Server

Premium sessions and sounds are delivered from our server (api-zensphere.appfide.com). To make sure requests come from a genuine copy of the app, it uses Apple's App Attest. Our server stores:

the anonymous app ID;
an App Attest key identifier, its public key and Apple's attestation data for your device's copy of the app, with the time it was last used. These are deleted 7 days after registration if never used, and otherwise 180 days after their last use;
short-lived security records: one-time challenges (minutes), cached subscription checks (minutes), hourly request counters (to stop abuse) and RevenueCat notification IDs (30 days).

Like any web server, it also handles your IP address to answer requests and keeps standard technical logs for security and to fix problems. We do not combine any of this with other data, sell it or use it for advertising. The server and its database are hosted on DigitalOcean.

7. Crash Reports

If the app crashes, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics (Google): the technical details of the crash, the device model, iOS and app version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier. Reports contain no personal content and are used only to fix bugs. Google keeps them for up to 90 days. We do not use Firebase Analytics.

8. Apple Health

If you turn on Settings > Log to Apple Health and allow access, ZenSphere writes the length of each finished session to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. ZenSphere does not read any health data. Data written to Apple Health is not sent to us or to anyone else, and is never used for advertising or marketing. You can turn this off in the app or in the Health app at any time.

9. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell or share your data, track you across other apps or websites, show ads or build advertising profiles. The only third parties are the service providers named above (Apple, RevenueCat, Google Firebase Crashlytics and DigitalOcean), each acting for us.

10. Children

ZenSphere is suitable for all ages and does not ask anyone for personal information. It has no accounts, chat, ads or tracking. Purchases go through Apple, which applies its own controls such as Ask to Buy.

11. Deleting Your Data

Deleting the app removes everything stored in it. The anonymous ID in the Keychain may survive a reinstall on the same device, so a restored subscription keeps working.
To delete what our server holds, email zensphere@appfide.com with your Support ID (Settings > Support ID). We delete it within 30 days and also ask RevenueCat to delete its record.
Cancel or manage a subscription in your Apple ID settings, or in the app under Settings > Manage Subscription.

12. Your Rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the data we hold, using the Support ID (section 11). We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).

13. Not Medical Advice

ZenSphere supports relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

14. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date, and anything new the app collects will be described here before it ships.
